Question and Prompt Pages
The first tool I have for you this week for primary and Sunday school is your Question and Prompt pages. I talk about these every week. However, if you are new here let me introduce you! These are the backbone of your lesson. Take these with you to class and use them as a guide to help you teach your class. These Q&P pages are actual questions and prompt with scripture references you can use in class. Start from the top and work your way through the whole lesson. They are designed to be engaging and really help you dive into what main ideas are being taught this week! Enjoy!
Family Come Follow Me Idea Feb 3-9
This week we talk about Adam and Eve’s decision in the Garden and how this choice ultimately brought happiness. The idea I have this week for families come from this prompt in your CFM manual:
If you knew your life was coming to an end, what final messages would you want to share with those you love most
?As the prophet Lehi felt he was nearing the end of his life, he gathered his children together one last time to prophesy and share the gospel truths he cherished with the people he cherished. He taught of liberty, obedience, the Fall of Adam and Eve, redemption through Jesus Christ, and joy. Not all of his children accepted his final testimony, but those who did—along with the millions who read it today—found in his testimony principles for living “after the manner of happiness” (2 Nephi 5:27).

I created a printable of the verse found in 2nd Nephi 5:27. This can be used to hang on your fridge or somewhere in your home to remind you of this
Primary Lesson idea “We lived after a manner of happiness”
As you prepare your primary lesson this week you will have several options to bring this lesson to life for your primary kids! First I illustrated the story of Adam and Eve in the garden. You can use this as a tool to teach your class about this vital story in the scriptures. but, you can take it further with an opposites game. This game is so easy to play. Have one child pick a card. Next, read the card aloud and then name the opposite of what is on the card. Just like many things have opposites.

When Adam and Eve made their choice in the garden they allowed us to experience opposites. such as Joy and sorrow. Understandably, some of these can be hard to experience we would not know the fullness of happiness without having experienced its opposite. This is a fun and simple way to teach about the garden of Eden with your family.

Sunday School Lesson Week 5
Each week for Sunday school I create a set of worksheets. These will help you really pull meaning from the ideas you have been asked to teach in CFM. This week I wanted to highlight this idea:
The Fall and the Atonement of Jesus Christ are essential parts of Heavenly Father’s plan
You have the option to use this 2-page work page to help your class understand this key idea. There are prompts for them to write in their answers prior to your discussion, thoughtful questions and scriptures references as well.
