The Good Samaritan
I am here to share a wonderful lesson plan for this
- Love thy neighbor as thy self
- Forgivness
With these two themes in mind, I have created the following questions and prompts. These will serve as your guide to share this lesson with your class. If you are new here I share one of these each week. This is the outline of your lesson plan. If you did nothing but print this out and show up with your scriptures, you would have a simple lesson ready to go.
Of course, I also have several more options as well but that is really the bones of each lesson!

Good Samaritan Coloring Page
in addition to the Question and Prompt Page I have two more handouts to help you teach your class about the good
First is this coloring page. I am offering both a colored and non-colored version. The colored version is geared towards older classes as you tell the story. And of course the un

Good Samaritan Handout Luke 10:25-37
The last is this little handout that contains the scripture verse of the Good Samaritan Story. Most of my class does not have their own scriptures so these are handy!

The Unmerciful Servant
One of the stories we study this week is the un-merciful servant. The story of the
New Testament
23 ¶ Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.
24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.
25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.
29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.
32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pityon thee?
34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
The Meaning of The Unmerciful Servant
To help illustrate this story of the unmerciful servant better I have created a visual of seventy times seventy. This will help your class better understand what “seventy times seventy” means.

The Unmerciful Servant Forgiveness Activity:
Lastly, I have made a set of 12 scenarios of forgiveness. This will help your students realize that there are opportunities to forgive all the time. Additionally, this will also give them the opportunity to practice when such scenarios arise.
