“In the Strength of the Lord”- Mosiah 7-10 for April 27- May 3rd Come Follow Me FHE and Sunday Lesson Helps. I have included an FHE lesson plan, Come follow me Study guide for your scriptures and at-home family sacrament meeting plan.
In Strength of the Lord- FHE Lesson Plan
I mentioned last week that I have changed things up a little given the current circumstances of the world (COVID-19). This prompted me to share a simple study guide also known as a question and prompt page specifically for families. I used this personally for my family FHE las week. I loved that they understood the scriptures better. But also that they could see the underlying messages being taught. We had a great discussion and I know if you use this you will to.
A couple of things to note: these are simplified bullet points of the Come Follow me Study manual for families. I’ve just simply broken everything up into questions. Secondly, there are scriptures to reference to help you find the answers quickly in the scriptures. Lastly, this Family study guide will help you lead a full discussion of this week’s scripture study and is good for kids and families of all ages!

FHE Lesson
This week I have also provided an FHE lesson plan for you to follow. You can print out this page and fill out the “opening prayer, song
this weeks FHE lesson includes:
- Come Follow Me FHE program with songs and talk suggestion
- family study guide
- prophets seer and revelatory coloring page and activity instructions
Each week I suggest a general conference talk that goes with the theme of our CFM study here is the link for this weeks:

Come Follow Me Weekly Coloring Page:
Each week I provide a simple coloring page to go with your FHE lesson. this week it is a picture of different objects used to see. In addition to these objects is a coloring picture of Joseph Smith. Use this coloring page to answer the following questions from the CFM manual:
Mosiah 8:13–18
To help family members understand what a seer is, perhaps you could show them pictures of tools that help us see things we couldn’t otherwise see, such as binoculars, a telescope, or a microscope. How are these tools like a seer? (see Moses 6:35–36). What can seers see that we do not? What evidence do we have that Joseph Smith was a seer?
You might show pictures of our living prophets, seers, and revelators and ask your family what they know about them. How are we following them?

Family Sacrament Meeting Program
The last item I have for you this week is a family sacrament meeting program. This includes two suggested talks from the CFM manual this week. I have gotten some feedback that some local leaders of the church have asked that you do sacrament as a stand-alone service. I encourage you to follow the direction of local leaders. But if you can do a sacrament meeting at home this is a simple outline to follow to help you feel the spirit and each song and talk is on theme with “in strength of the Lord” our weekly Come Follow Me a message.

I hope you find the resources I have shared helpful this week! Enjoy and I’ll be back next week with more!
