Question and Prompt Pages
The first tool I have for you this week for primary and Sunday school is your Question and Prompt pages. I talk about these every week. But if you are new here let me introduce you! These are the backbone of your lesson. Take these with you to class and use them as a guide to help you teach your class. These Q&P pages are actual questions and prompt with scripture references you can use in class. Start from the top and work your way through the whole lesson. They are designed to be engaging and really help you dive into what main ideas are being taught this week! Enjoy!

Family Ideas for I will prepare the way before you Come Follow Me Lesson
Each week I like to come up with a simple game or idea you can use at home for you family CFM study. This week is no different and is inspired by the following prompt from your CFM manual:
When God led Lehi’s family into the wilderness, He did not provide them with a detailed travel plan to the promised land. But He did give Lehi the Liahona to guide his family daily toward their destination. What has Heavenly Father given you to provide guidance and direction? What do you think it means that “by small means the Lord can bring about great things”? (1 Nephi 16:29).
As you read 1 Nephi 16:10–16, 23–31 and 18:11–22, consider making a list of principles that illustrate how God guides His children (for example, 1 Nephi 16:10 can teach that God sometimes guides us in unexpected ways). What experiences have you had with these principles?
To help you teach your family that God guides them in unexpected ways I created the following activity: Below you will find the printable files of a Liahona. One is the front the other is the back. Attach them together then cut along the puzzle lines. Prepare this before you do this lesson with your family. Then use the instructions provided to teach this lesson to your family with the Liahona puzzle visual.

Come Follow Me Idea for Primary Jan 27 – Feb 2nd
This week for primary you will use the navigation images I have illustrated for your class to talk to your class about direction and finding their way. This idea is inspired by this CFM idea:
Show the children a compass, a map, or something else that helps us find our way, and explain how to use these tools. Compare these tools to the Liahona as you summarize the story in 1 Nephi 16:10, 28–29 and 18:9–13, 20–22. Point out that when Lehi’s family was not obedient, the Liahona did not work (see also 1 Nephi 18:9–12, 20–22). What helps us today to find our way back to Heavenly Father?
Just as these navigation tools and people help us reach our destination. We are armed with powerful navigation tools like the scriptures to help us make it back to our Father in Heaven. You will find the instructions and printable below to do this activity with your primary class.

Sunday School Lesson Idea I Will prepare a way for you Come Follow me Lesson
Each week for Sunday school I create a set of worksheets. These will help you really pull meaning from the ideas you have been asked to teach in CFM. This week I wanted to highlight this idea:
God uses small means to accomplish great things.
You have the option to use this 2 page work page to help your class understand this key idea. There are prompts for them to write in their answers prior to your discussion, thoughtful questions and scriptures references as well.
