Today I am sharing a fun activity for families with kids to enjoy as you study this months Come Follow Me lessons in March
My hope is that this will add a little fun to your weekly New Testament scripture study but keep it simple!!
March Ideas for Come Follow Me New Testament Families and Individuals
I apologize for the lack of material and posts in February. February, I spent the better part of the month streamlining what I want to share with you guys. I want to share material you and your families you will enjoy but also find useful.
While the in-depth study guides I have published in January are great, I realized I myself was not gravitating towards them. At this season of my life with 5 young children I need quick easy and simple! I know many of you are also in a similar stage of life. I have gone back to the drawing board multiple times over in the month of February. Ultimately deciding to just start fresh here in March! I hope these new lesson helps make it easier for you to study the New Testament with your families but also inject a little fun during that special time too!
Scripture Reference Guide for March Come Follow Me Families
Moving forward, each month I will share a simple reference to remind you of the scriptures during the months reading. Additionally, I’ll break each chapters reading down a little more so that if you need it to read in multiple sessions that’s easily laid out for you. It’s typically too much to try and read the entire weeks reading in one go for our family so the broken down option works best for us. My kids can digest what we read better in smaller chunks and also remember what we talked about too!
I personally plan to put one of these printable monthly reference guides on my fridge so that every night when I think “what chapters are we reading tonight?” This way I can quickly glance at it and remember. Also, I have added little check marks to help you remember what you have and have not read yet! This is great during those crazy weeks when you and your spouse are switching off from leading the family scripture study and you’ll both know where you are! My husband and I have varying late-night activities that sometimes pull one of us away and this means there is no guessing!
This system may also be fun for your little kids to help mark off as you go!
I realized that the last set of study guides didn’t make it easy to pick up where you left off and I hope that this helps!
Come Follow Me Printable
first up I will share this months reading reference guide for the Come Follow Me material in March. The second thing I have changed is the weekly study guide. No longer will there be a weekly study guide. It’s not something I want to rule out forever but for now, I think what my family needs and I also hope your families will enjoy are fun weekly activities and games to go along with each weeks reading material.
For this month it includes a rock painting activity, a mad gab game, a matching game and two more fun ideas for the 5 weeks in the March Come Follow Me Families assigned reading. My goal as a parent is to teach my kids! I want scritpure study to be fun and not something they dread! I hope these simple but fun little games will help achieve that goal!
So here is your happy colorful printable to remind you of the reading for March! Enjoy and I’ll be back real soon to share the fun activities I have for each week!
