Come Partake of the Fruit-Main Ideas
I want to start by sharing the main ideas for each of the different classes and home teaching. I like to share these because they will help you know what is being asked of you as a teacher or parent. They are the main topics from the Come Follow Me book. I also think they will help you feel inspired to share your own ideas and insights if you know the concepts you have been asked to share with your classes or families.

Question and Prompt Pages
The first tool I have for you this week for primary and Sunday school is your Question and Prompt pages. I talk about these every week. But if you are new here let me introduce you! These are the backbone of your lesson. Take these with you to class and use them as a guide to help you teach your class. These Q&P pages are actual questions and prompts with scripture references you can use in class. Start from the top and work your way through the whole lesson. They are designed to be engaging and really help you dive into what main ideas are being taught this week! Enjoy!
Family Idea for Come Partake of the Fruit Come Follow Me Lesson
This week the central focus of our Come follow me studies is Lehi’s dream. I wanted to really emphasize this by creating a set of illustrations with a story to tell Lehi’s dream. These are circles that you can print out and share with your family as you tell the story. You can let members of your family hold up the circles to help act it out of just hold them to participate. Please note that the Sunday school and Primary lesson ideas this week would both make awesome FHE ideas depending on the age of your kids! So if you’re looking for a different activity idea be sure to check those out as well! This idea was prompted
1 Nephi 8
Your family members might enjoy reenacting Lehi’s vision or drawing pictures and using their drawings to tell about it. Or you could show the artist’s depiction of Lehi’s vision that accompanies this lesson and invite family members to point out details and look for scriptures that describe what these things represent. The hymn “The Iron Rod” (Hymns, no. 274) goes well with this chapter. You might also watch a video depicting Lehi’s vision (see the Book of Mormon Videos collection on ChurchofJesusChrist.org or the Gospel Library app).

Journey Through Lehi’s Dream Game idea for Primary
This week for primary I have taken the illustrations I made for families of Lehi’s dream and turned it into a fun board game! This game will include a full set of instructions so you know how to set up and play the game. The game comes with 40+ printable cards. These will each have a scripture from 1st Nephi 8. They will each be missing a word. As you draw a card during your turn use your scriptures to fill in the blank to move forward. This game will teach your class about Lehi’s dream but also make it fun! This idea was inspired by this prompt in your CFM book:
As the children read selected verses from 1 Nephi 8, invite them to find details from these verses in a picture of Lehi’s vision (such as the one in this week’s outline in Come, Follow Me—For Individuals and Families). Or invite them to draw pictures on the board of the details they read about. Then help the children discover what the symbols in the dream represent (see 1 Nephi 11:21–22; 12:16–18; 15:23–33, 36).

Sunday School Idea for Lehi’s Dream
For Sunday school this week I created some deep dive worksheets for the following idea:
The word of God leads us to the Savior and helps us feel His love.
This is illustrated through lehi’s dream as you decode the symbolism of the tree and the rod of iron. The worksheet will help you do this with your class and have a meaningful discussion on how Lehi’s dream is applicable to us today. It will teach us how we can apply it and live it.
