Just so you know! I often use affiliate links in my posts! This is my preferred way to point you towards products, supplies or other items that fit the content of a post. I only share products I myself have or would purchase!! I get a little kickback when you use these links and check out. But, you pay nothing extra when I do! It’s a great way for me to maintain this site and make a little commission for the ideas I share here! Using these links blesses my family in more ways than I can count! It pays for dance class, new shoes for ever-growing kids etc! It also helps me feel good about the time I spend on this blog when I can contribute to the costs of raising a family! Blessed are the Peacemakers
This week I am sharing a full lesson plan to help you lead meaningful discussions with your young primary classes. I am constantly revising how I construct these lesson plans. This lesson “blessed are the peacemakers” is a very simplified version compared to lesson plans I have shared before. My goal is that it will help you not feel so overwhelmed by the amount that you have prepared. But help bring about a meaningful discussion in your class and help your students find the answers to the questions being asked in their scriptures.
I think that teaching a love for the scriptures can be taught as we help our children understand that answers can be readily found in the words of the scriptures.
Blessed are the Peacemakers Verse
I have just on main printable for you today it is the blessed are the peacemakers’ verse.
Blessed are the Meek
As I studied this week’s primary lesson “blessed are the peacemakers” and being an example and a light to others are the main thoughts I took away from the scriptures we are reading in the New Testament. I wanted to ask my class questions pertaining to these ideas and I came up with this list with the aid of my come follow me manual.
These questions will take you through the entier lesson. I hope they will also help you dive into your scriptures as you search for the answers!
Blessed are the Peacemakers Matching Game
Next, I have a fun game you can play with your class or at home with your families! It’s a matching game. In Matthew 5: 3-12 the sermon on the mount is shared and 9 qualities are shared with 9 corresponding blessings. Match the quality to the blessing as you use the scriptures to help you! Simply cut all 18 cards out and mix them up! You can also use THESE laminating sheets to help keep them intact as you play!
Lastly! Blessed are the Peacemakers Hand Out
Lastly, this is a fun handout to share with your class! I plan to laminate mine and use them as bookmarks but. You could also put them on a string as a necklace for your students to wear around their necks.
I hope you enjoyed the Primary Lesson Helps I have shared this week! If you have any feedback I always love to hear it!
