A Might Change-April 20-26 Come Follow Me Lesson Ideas and Activities-Mosiah 4-6. These lesson helps will include a FHE program complete with a family activity and a family study guide for your scripture study this week. In addition, ion I have created a sacrament meeting program for you to follow win your homes

A Mighty Change of Heart Family Study Guide
I mentioned last week that I have changed things up a little given the current circumstances of the world (COVID-19). I felt prompted to share a simple study guide also known as a question and prompt page specifically for families. I used this personally for my family FHE las week. I loved that they understood the scriptures better. But also that they could see the underlying messages being taught. We had a great discussion and I know if you use this you will to.
A couple of things to note: these are simplified bullet points of the Come Follow me Study manual for families. I’ve just simply broken everything up into questions. Secondly, there are scriptures to reference to help you find the answers quickly in the scriptures. Lastly, this Family study guide will help you lead a full discussion of this week’s scripture study and is good for kids and families of all ages!

FHE Lesson
This week I have also provided an FHE lesson plan for you to follow. You can print out this page and fill out the “opening prayer, song etc”. I created this to simply your FHE prep. Along with an agenda, you will also find a few more resources.

Mighty Change Coloring page
It is my goal to provide a coloring page each week for families with younger (or older kids). We listen to a talk suggested by the CFM manual and as we listed during our FHE my kids colored their pages. This worked out so well! This coloring page depicts christ helping a beggar as well as part of the scripture Mosiah 4: 6. This teaches that we are all God’s children.

FHE Family activity
The last item I have for you for FHE is a family activity. I created these simple hearts that say. ” I belong to Jesus Christ” they go along with this CFM prompt:
What does taking the name of Christ upon us suggest about our relationship with Him? It might help to talk about why people sometimes write their names on their belongings. How can we show that we “belong” to the Savior?
additionally they hearts say ” I will take upon the saviors name by:” and then your family will each fill out a heart. This is a simple activity to illustrate what a change of heart means for them personally.

Family Sacrament Meeting Program
The last item I have for you this week is a family sacrament meeting program. This includes two suggested talks from the CFM manual this week. I have gotten some feedback that some local leaders of the church have asked that you do sacrament as a stand-alone service. I encourage you to follow the direction of local leaders. But if you can do a sacrament meeting at home this is a simple outline to follow to help you feel the spirit and each song and talk is on theme with “a might change” our weekly Come Follow Me a message.
